Russian born Alla Zotova relocated to the United States in 1997. In 2003, Alla moved to Hagerstown, Maryland and now considers it her hometown.
Alla earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering, but as an adult discovered a hidden passion for painting. Her children, family and friends are the inspiration for her work.

In the artist’s words, “The world of abstract captured my heart, my thoughts and most of all, my soul. I am blessed with the ability to express my emotions through art.
